    Faction Rules


    Greetings everyone,

    This thread goes over the official faction rules. Please keep in mind that rules are subject to change at any time and you’re responsible for keeping up to date with our server rules. As far as punishments go, faction strikes will be given out as followed:


    Strike 1 - Faction warning


    Strike 2 - 15% Potential value taken


    Strike 3 - 30% Potential value taken


    Strike 4 - 50% Potential value taken


    Every strike after the 3rd Strike will take 50% Potential value



    To view if your faction has any strikes you may issue the following command in-game: /f strike


    Cannon Speeds & Miscellaneous Rules


    One wall can only be broken every 3 seconds per shot excluding the exceptions in Rule 28.
    If these speeds are passed, a strike will be issued and a rollback will occur. Keep in mind we do not go based on just video proof. We require a staff member to confirm the speed first.

    If a faction disband occurs, all players in the faction will have their balance reset. You cannot attempt to create a faction to bypass strikes or reset your strikes.

    If a faction and/or player has allegedly broken a faction rule, it has to be brought up to us within 24 hours via support tickets in the Official Discord or else it will not be dealt with.

    This applies to the rules: #4, #8, #10, #13, #14, #18, #22+

    We will not give a faction two strikes for the same issue/reason unless the Senior Staff Team determine it was severe enough to punish from. We will also not strike a faction more than once in a 24 hour period for breaking the same rule unless a rule states otherwise. We will not punish factions for breaking the following rules during grace period: #14, #21-23, #26+

    Faction Rules



    1. Alt factions and/or alt accounts cannot be used to evade any of these rules


    Punishment: The alt faction will be disbanded if there is one, and the main faction will receive the appropriate punishment that the alt faction or alt account would have received (depending on the rule violation).



    2. A faction can only claim a single corner


    Punishment: The alt faction will be disbanded and the main faction will receive the appropriate punishment that the alt faction would have received (depending on the rule violation).


    Note: If at the start of the world, you claim a corner as a one man faction, you may be susceptible to having it unclaimed as we prefer having proper factions player and occupying that space properly instead of a solo player.



    3. Bitch claiming is not permitted during the first week of the map


    Punishment: If a faction has bitch claims they will be asked to unclaim all of them. If the faction refuses to unclaim, it will be unclaimed by a Senior Staff member. If the claims get reclaimed by the same faction after already being removed, the user who claimed the land will be banned for 3 days.



    4. You cannot blow up any spawner(s) to bypass the cost needed to mine spawners


    Punishment: 2 day ban for the player involved. The spawners will be removed from the server or given to the raiding faction if they have them on lockdown or the spawners are actively being creeper egged (See the exception in Rule #32).



    5. You cannot merge factions at any point during the map if either faction is on F-Top or will get placed on F-Top by doing so


    Punishment: Disqualified from 1 week of payout and removal of merged value.

    Note: You can merge if the F-Top brought from the meeting faction is removed by a senior staff member.



    6. Abusing bugs and/or exploiting plugins


    Punishment: Punishments for abusing bugs and/or exploiting plugins will be determined by the strike team on the severity for it. Punishments will be ranged from player bans to potential faction strikes.

    Note: Players almost always know when they are abusing a bug and/or exploiting plugins so if the staff team determine that there was viable information, such as a staff member saying it in chat, an announcement in discord, a message to the player and/or his faction leader and knowledge that the players knew they were abusing a bug there will be a punishment issued. Below is an example of Truthy abusing a faction fly bug. He is currently in my land with my perms set correctly and he is able to fly (not just because of his perms). Anything that is remotely similar to this will be punished.


    7. DDosing/Doxing


    Punishment: If you are caught in possession of a booter/stresser or a database/ips of anything, you will be permanently blacklisted from the network.



    8. Insiding is NOT ALLOWED for this map. Insiders will be banned.




    9. For every 7 permanent bans a faction acquires, they will be given a faction strike.


    Punishment: The faction will be given a strike for every 7 bans they receive.

    Note: The bans that qualify for this are certainly most of our bans on Daegonner so be wary. In certain cases, bans are required to be added to another faction if the faction was coinciding with them. YT Vid - Click here for why it's acceptable to add bans to factions.



    10. Leeching, teaming and interfering with a raid is not allowed



    Punishment: 1 day ban to the player(s) breaking the rule.
    If there are 1 or more unrelated faction members in full diamond armor fighting and preventing you from raiding/defend, the unrelated faction will be striked and the raid will be stopped and rolled back. If the unrelated faction was teleported in by one of the two factions, a strike will be issued to that faction.

    Note: Interfering with a raid is defined as; being in player distance near any of the active cannons boxes or any of the base walls.There should be absolutely no tnt fired in the areas except coming from the offending and defending factions. IF you get tp’ed in by someone in an attempt for them to get you banned, immediately type in public chat stating so and a time stamp in case you get reported, otherwise you will be banned. If there is no aggression from the unrelated faction, there will not be any punishment. You are not allowed to go into the base if your faction has not breached the base. There are no exceptions for being inside the base if another faction is attempting to raid them. If you found a hole you have to make sure no one is shooting before you enter. Players are not allowed to leave their faction and join another faction to help defend or raid. If a raiding faction shoots through a unrelated factions cannon box, the unrelated faction cannot patch their cannon box while the raid is active. This will be considered as interfering with a raid..

    11. Giving other factions wealth


    Punishment: The factions involved will be disqualified for a week of payouts and the wealth will be removed from the map. The same punishment will also be applied if players attempt to bypass by leaving the faction and rejoining. In severe events, players can also be susceptible to a ban if they are attempting to alter F-Top and payouts.

    Note: You & your faction can not give more than $5,000,000 in any form collectively to another faction, if the faction is or will be placed on f top page 1. However, you cannot give TNT to any faction or player whatsoever. If a player gets given a stack of TNT or 1 piece on one occasion by another faction member that won’t be strikeable and whenever it comes to TNT it’ll be up to the Strike Team to decide if it’s punishable or not.

    This rule is in place to allow larger factions to give smaller factions a boost.



    12. Single Round Team Events


    Punishment: The main faction and alt faction will be disqualified from any prize from the event.

    Note: You can only claim one prize in single round team events. Creating alt factions to prevent other factions from winning or attempting to claim multiple prizes is prohibited and will result in you not receiving any prizes. If this is the case, the other 3 factions who were there with the most players will receive the prizes.




    13. Patching walls with schematica printer or gen buckets is not allowed during a raid


    Punishment: 2 day ban to the faction member involved and the faction will receive a strike. If the Raiding faction use any Gen Buckets or Printer on the raiding cannon whatsoever a rollback will occur and the raid will be over but no strike will be issued.

    Note: This includes TnT being shot at your base, counter cannon, raid claim and/or while in lockdown and/or actively creeper egging your spawners or actively creeper egging a cannon involved in the raid (See the exception in Rule #32). You cannot printer patch or use Gen Buckets in areas where TNT has been shot within the last 15 minutes. This does not include rebuilding a cannon. Building a cannon isn’t considered an active raid. This rule includes the use of Sandy to patch too.



    14. Encasing your spawners in any block to prevent enemies from obtaining your spawners is strictly prohibited. Your spawners cannot be scattered on the ceiling of the base making it harder to obtain


    Punishment: 24 hour warning to fix, failure to do so will result in a 2 day ban to the person who covered the spawners. If being raided, the spawners will be given to the raiding faction who breached the box even if you have been given a warning.

    Note: Spawners scattered below a roof layer is not considered an active grinder. To prevent roof scattering, we are making it so that you have to have 5 spawners per pillar before beginning to make another one.

    We do allow spawners implemented into base designs so if a spawner is placed on the floor and the blocks surrounding it are creggable and regular building blocks (i.e stone,grass,wood) we would not punish for that. The spawner cannot be on the roof or some awkward place to obtain, most situations the spawners will be in the floor.

    We will only issue strikes if the offending faction has 20 million or 10% of their total f top spawner value, whichever is lower, breaking this rule. If the value is as low, or lower than what stated, we will remove the spawners required so they are below the threshold, from the map or they will be given to the raiding faction if they have breached.
    If a faction is raided leading to their member box having over 20% of their spawner value, they will be notified and given 48 hours warning to fix. Failure to do so will result in a strike being issued and the removal of spawners from the map until it's below the threshold of 20%.

    All grinders that hold spawners in them must be at least 14x14x46 inside the box (16x16x48 including the walls, roof & floor) excluding a blaze grinder. A blaze grinder has to be set up with water below the spawners pushing towards a 3x3 (at max) hole. Silverfish spawners can also be manually grinded, however they must abide by the size 14x14x14 (16x16x16 including the walls, roof & floor.

    If the spawners are mined or blocked up while in lockdown and/or TNT is being shot at your base and/or creeper eggs are being used to blow up spawners (See the exception in Rule #32), the spawners will be unblocked. If the faction breaches the box containing blocked spawners, then the spawners will be given to the raiding faction.



    Below is a Spawner Box, a watered obsidian box that holds useless spawners, these are allowed as long as they follow the rules stated above.

    However, a Spawner Grinder looks like the image below, these are the main type of grinders and also have to abide by the size rule, even breaking the size rule by 1 block will result in a strike.


    Spawners have to have 4 air blocks around each one in grinders with the exception that spawners are the only block allowed to replace the air blocks.

    15. You may not repeat something a staff member has fixed.


    Punishment: Faction Strike will be issued if excessive.

    Note: An example of this would be reclaiming illegal claims that an admin has unclaimed.



    Base & Claiming Rules



    16. Buffer size can only extend 25 chunks from the outermost base wall, Keep in mind that your base must have have a wall on all 4 sides (Unless the world border takes up one or two sides), a roof and a floor


    Punishment: Factions will be notified to fix their claims. If the claim isn’t fixed then a senior staff member will unclaim the illegal claims. If a player extends their buffer past 25 chunks by creating walls during a raid, then the player will receive a 2 day ban.

    Note: Claims after the buffer cannot be in line with the shell of the base for 60 chunks. You cannot have walls inside of your base. The Senior Staff Team will decide whether they are watered walls or walls apart of the base.



    17. If you wish to build your base next to another faction, there must be a 40 chunk gap minimum for raid claims


    Punishment: Faction will be notified. If the claim isn’t fixed within 36 hours to move their bases, if this is not done the base will be moved/removed by an Admin.



    18. In no way, shape or form are any detectors allowed. This means you are not allowed to use anything that would inform you that you are being raided. Manual checking, however, is allowed


    Punishment: Faction will be given 3 strikes.

    19. Regen walls are not allowed


    Punishment: If a faction is caught with regen walls, they will be asked to remove them. If the faction does not remove them within 24 hours, then a senior staff member will forcefully remove it. If the Regen Walls are used during a raid then the faction using the regens will be striked & the spawners inline with the cannon will be given to the raiding faction if it is a raid on a base.



    20. Defending with ANY unraidable blocks including but not limited to Cobwebs & Banners is illegal


    Punishment: If caught using any unraidable blocks the faction will receive a warning for the first offence, and 1 strike for each subsequent offence. If used to hinder an active raid then the warning may be skipped, and a strike issued for the first offence.

    Note: If a faction is caught using these blocks to defend their base, they will be asked to remove it. If the faction does not remove the unraidable blocks, then a senior staff member will forcefully remove it. Even if you do this at y:1 to stop a 1 stacker you will still be punished.



    21. All placed spawners must be inside one claimed protected base


    Punishment: All spawners not located within one claimed protected base will be removed from the map.

    Note: To be eligible for F-Top payout, your base needs to have at least 120 watered walls (15 chunk buffer). Spawners can be in member boxes in your buffer as long as they follow rule 14 however, those member boxes cannot exceed more than 250 million potential value or 20% of your faction’s total f top potential value, whichever is lower will be used.

    22. Any base and/or cannon box that is deemed unreachable via ender pearls or with easy access via water is illegal


    Punishment: The faction will be asked to fix it. If after 6 hours of notice from the Senior Staff Team it is still not fixed, a strike will be issued and the staff team will fix it forcefully.

    If a faction were to cannon and create a hole and yet was still unable to get to it then a faction strike will be issued and anything in line with the cannon hole will be given to the raiding faction.



    23. You can only have 3 chunks of walls on a Cannon Box


    Punishment: The faction will be told to fix it and if they do not within 4 hours then an admin will forcefully remove it and ban the player informed for 12 hours. If the faction had an illegal amount of walls whilst an attempt is made to raid/destroy the cannon box, a strike will be issued and a rollback will occur. If a player extends the walls past 3 chunks by creating walls during a raid, then the player will also receive a 2 day ban.

    Note: This does not apply to a cannon box within the buffer of your base. You are allowed to create a platform to extend from your 3 chunk of walls to allow floating, in which you can also extend your claims to overrule Rule 23. if required to shoot/float further. If someone else requests the claims where your excess claims are, they will be removed.



    24. You cannot AFK within 3 chunks of a check wall


    Punishment: The player will be TP'd to spawn and/or kicked from the server




    25. You are not allowed to have a raid claim bigger than the enemies factions base size+8 by basesize+8. You can only have 1 raid claim per side of the base.

    Punishment: The faction will be asked to unclaim the illegal claims (they have). If they refuse, then a senior staff member will remove it forcefully. If the faction reclaims land a staff member has unclaimed/had unclaimed, a strike will be issued and the claims removed forcefully by a staff member If a faction breaks this rule by using more than 1 raid claim per side within a 1 hour period to raid a base while having multiple raid claims per side, then they will be striked and a rollback will occur.

    Note: This rule is in place to allow multiple factions to have raid claims on a base and so we will not strike a raiding faction or rollback the defending faction if an illegal raid claim is used due to the size and they have not been notified to remove it. You are allowed a 2 by 2 claim for the sole purpose of trapping. If you wish to raid a counter cannon, you are not allowed to have another raid claim on the same side of the base at the same time. You must build another cannon and/or adjust the barrel of the current cannon.



    26. Anti-Raid claims are claims offset from your base shell within 60 chunks in your buffer or they can be further than 60 chunks out and in line with your base shell. Just note that if someone wishes to have a raid claim where your anti-raid claims are whether they be offset with your base or 60+ chunks out, they will be removed if the faction shows they are actively using the area to build a cannon and proceeding to shoot it within 1 day. If the claims are not used within 1 day then the player who requested for them to be removed will receive a 2 day ban.


    Punishment: If a faction is caught with illegal anti-raid claims, they will be told to remove the claims by a staff member. If the faction refuses to remove the claims, a Senior Staff member will forcefully remove them, strike the faction and ban the player who was informed for 2 days if not done within 2 days; That is plenty of time to contact a leader if you’re just a simple member, screenshot the message if you have too for proof for your leader.

    Note: To make it clear, you cannot claim within 60 chunks from your last chunk in your buffer that is aligned with your base shell. That is 960 blocks away from your most outer chunk block. However, you can claim within 60 chunks if you are not in line with your base shell. This rule is only in place to allow raiding factions space to claim. We will not be rolling back a cannon box if an illegal anti-raid claim is used.




    Cannon Rules



    27. Roof cannoning is NOT allowed. Roof cannons are described as a cannon that shoots TNT or sand at or above 256


    Punishment: 2-day ban for the players building the cannon as well as a faction strike if the cannon has been fired at least ONCE. If any damage caused by this cannon will be rolled back by the strike team.


    Note: You are allowed to have a trapdoor on the top of the world height, making the barrel 255.8 as a trapdoor takes up .2 of a block.



    28. Cannons that are made to intentionally lag the server are NOT allowed


    Punishment: 2-day temp-ban to the players building the cannon.Senior Staff team will issue a warning on the first instance and then a faction strike will be issued on any next instances. If any users explain some problems regarding cannoning that could help our performance, we would be more than happy to compensate.



    29. Multiple wall one-shots are NOT allowed, one button press has to blow up 1 hole in 1 wall (Exclusions in notes)


    Punishment: 2-day ban for the player building the cannon and a faction strike.
    If the offending faction made it 6 chunks into your buffer, a senior staff member will roll you back.

    Note: For examples of cannons that break this rule; cannons that make 2 holes in 2 different spots with one button press & 2 wall one shots.

    The following cannons/events are exempt from the rule: pseudos,nukes & shotgun/scatter cannons that do not have a hammer and any form of sand camp.

    30. You are allowed to bypass the speed limit with a cannon under Y:15 using a clock


    Punishment: If the cannon is above Y:15, a 2-day temp ban will be given to the player who built the cannon and a faction strike will be issued along with a rollback to the defending faction.

    Note: Any shotgun/scatter cannons that do not have a hammer and any form of sand camp can be shot at ANY speed as long as they are specifically blowing up DRY walls. Rule #35 still applies therefore there cannot be any reversing attachments/mechanics on your cannon.



    31. No wall removers


    Punishment: 2-day temp ban to the player who built the cannon and if logs show 3 or more players assisted with this a faction strike will be issued.

    Note: The walls that were removed illegally will be rolled back.



    32. Only one faction can raid a base at a time, using only one cannon, a 1 stacker also counts as a cannon so you cannot use that simultaneously with another cannon. The raiding faction is determined by who starts the faction lockdown first. If another faction is raiding the same base as you wish to, you must wait for them to stop raiding before you can begin shooting.


    Punishment: A rollback will occur and a strike issued if it’s determined that the 2nd (or later) Factions initiating the raid knew that a raid was already in progress.

    Note: The faction that is raiding first will not be punished. F lockdown will prompt you if another faction has started the lockdown. If this is the case, you must stop shooting within 30 seconds of your faction being notified. If the raiding faction wants to shoot a different cannon, then they must wait until lockdown ends before they are allowed to shoot the second cannon. If another faction gets to start the lockdown before you whilst you are waiting to swap cannons, that is fair play and they are now the raiding faction. This rule also applies to cannon boxes, as being bases. You can only shoot one cannon at a cannon box at a time. If you wish to swap cannons, you must wait 15 minutes before firing the next one.

    If a faction is raiding using creeper eggs then this is deemed a active raid and will overrule the Lockdown. They must wait 15 minutes after creeper egging spawners to start shooting another cannon.



    33. No horizontal nuking whatsoever, including pseudos


    Punishment: 2-day ban for the player building the cannon and if the staff team determine the damage was quite excessive,5 or so chunks, a rollback will occur and a faction strike will be issued.

    Note: Anti-Patches and tunnelers are not classified as horizontal nuking, more so a tunnel effect.



    34. Left and right shooting is not allowed on either server (This includes corner shooting). The Barrel and backboard of your cannon must be claimed by the raiding faction


    Punishment: The raiding faction will be striked and the defending faction will receive a rollback



    35. You cannot bypass the cannon speed rules with reversing mechanics or any sort of mechanics.


    Punishment: A 2-day temp ban will be issued to the player who built the cannon and the raiding faction will be striked and the defending faction will receive a rollback.



    36. You are only allowed 1 cannon per raid claim.


    Punishment: The offending faction will be asked to destruct the excess cannon(s) until they only have 1. Failure to do so will within 12 hours maximum will result in a faction strike and the cannon(s) forcefully removed by a senior staff member. Continuously breaking this rule will result in a strike without warning. If you break this rule during a raid, you will be issued a strike and the defending faction will receive a rollback
